Nintendo of America today laid out the bulk of its first-party GameCube release list for the coming year, including official release announcements for several games. The conga-drum rhythm action game Donkey Konga is officially on its way to North America early this fall, and several major titles will now officially see release before the end of the year.

The complete list released by Nintendo today is as follows:

April 5, 2004 Wario Ware, Inc.: Mega Party Game$

May 10, 2004 Custom Robo Battle Revolutions

June 7, 2004 The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure

August 2004 Pikmin 2

September 2004 Donkey Konga

Q4 2004 (October-December) Geist Mario Party 6 Mario Tennis Metroid Prime 2 Paper Mario 2 Star Fox 2

The fourth-quarter holiday lineup has some surprises -- Metroid Prime 2 will make a 2004 release after all, and despite its grim showing at last year's E3, work on Star Fox 2 apparently proceeds apace. No one was surprised by the news of a sixth Mario Party, though, were they?

We'll no doubt see all of the above and more -- particularly the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker -- at E3 in May, so expect a full report when the show commences.
