Party people, take note! Nintendo’s colorful crew of boardwalkers are back with 50 new mini-games for you and up to three friends to play. Though the series is large and in charge on the GameCube, and features sharp-looking graphics, the theme remains the same: roll the dice, make your way around the board, earn as many coins as you can, play a heck of a lot of mini-games. Unlike Mario Party games of years past (all on the Nintendo 64), every one of these mini-games is brand-new. None of the repurposed, game recycling from previous episodes. Nope. Now, games like Right Oar Left, Revers-A-Bomb, Fish ‘N Drips, Trace Race and many more are all original, making the GameCube the party place to be. With other party games like Bomberman Generation and Super Monkey Ball 2 already on the system, could groups of four people possibly have any more fun? We think not. While we hate the term “fun for the whole family,” it’s an adage that is absolutely true to Mario Party 4. Grab a controller and get in line!
