NEW YORK - Talk about larger than life.
Things don't come much bigger than Sony's Jumbotron TV screen at Times Square, where passers-by last week were treated to the spectacle of a bout of Mortal Kombat 3, which was officially introduced as a home video game by the three suppliers that win market the game.
During a press event at the Times Square Marriott Marquis, Mortal Kombat's creators Ed Boon and John Tobias squared off at the controls for an exhibition match. The action, as it happened in the hotel, was repeated on the Jumbotron.
