REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 24, 2000

Official 007-Licensed Successor to Top Selling, Smash Hit to Deliver Fast, Spy-Inspired Action Seen Through the Eyes of Bond... James Bond

Admittedly, the world wasn't enough without a Nintendo(R) 64 version of the upcoming James Bond interactive game title, The World is Not Enough. With almost one year of strategic development in place, N64(TM) fans will rejoice later this year when the highly coveted Bond franchise returns to their favorites console platform, courtesy of Electronic Arts (Nasdaq:ERTS).

Building upon its already impressive, high profile James Bond game line-up for the PlayStation(R)2 game console, PlayStation(R) game console system and PC platform, the much anticipated Nintendo 64 version is slated for release later this year alongside its counterparts. The World is Not Enough game is an action-packed, spy-inspired title based on MGM's blockbuster film of the same name, which was released theatrically last fall.

The World is Not Enough carries the unique distinction of being the official James Bond sequel for the N64 system. The ground swell of interest for a first-person perspective title using the Bond franchise stems from its wildly successful 007-licensed N64 game predecessor that was based on the MGM film, "GoldenEye." The game, according to Nintendo of America, has sold more than 7.5 million units worldwide since its release more than two years ago. Helping to extend the interest for The World is Not Enough is the worldwide installed base of 27.8 million Nintendo 64 systems, as of September 1999 according to Nintendo of America, which provides an opportunity to expand upon the already established fan base.

Like its counterparts, The World is Not Enough for the N64 will deliver the most explosive, fast-paced action and excitement through the eyes of the world's most renowned, top-secret agent 007. Gameplayers will appreciate that the game stays true to the Bond legacy by delivering all the furious action, stealth, state-of-the-art gadgets and sophisticated spy-craft that fans expect.

       Key features will include:

-- Be James Bond via an immersive first-person perspective that
allows the player to completely assume the role of the world's
     greatest spy.

-- Action-packed single and four-player multi-player modes that
maintain a constant, high frame rate for fast, fluid gameplay.

-- More than 40 unique Bond weapons and innovative gadgets to
     acquire and utilize.

-- Fully accessible game that with Expansion pack support, provides
enhanced stunning graphics and visual effects.

-- More than 10 enormous arenas and levels, some unique for the N64
version, many of which are based on movie scenes and locales.

-- Encounter many recognizable allies from the movie, as well as new
adversaries created exclusively for the game.

-- Authentic sounds and dialogue folded in throughout the game that
adds to overall seamless and exciting gameplay.
