In a smart bit of co-promotion, Microsoft and Ubisoft plan to release a special Xbox Live bundle version of Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow in Europe. Announced today, the package contains a copy of the game, an Xbox Communicator headset, and a 12-month subscription to Xbox Live for a discounted price of 59.99 pounds or 89.99 euros (about $73 in England, in other words, but a bit over $100 in the continent's harder currency).

The package will be released alongside the regular Xbox and PC versions of Pandora Tomorrow on March 26 (one day before the game's American release), giving players without Xbox Live subscriptions an incentive to sign up and enjoy its excellent two-on-two multiplayer game. The Xbox Live mode pits two spies (equipped like hero Sam Fisher) against two mercenaries with different weapons and capabilities in a team-based game of cat and mouse.

No such bundle will be released in North America, unfortunately, so stateside gamers will have to subscribe separately.
